LITTLE BUTTERFLY Artisan Crafted Feather Quill Dip Pen

This is a beautiful, vibrant colored quill pen, of which I have spared no detail in its design or crafting.

Handcrafted out of a single, very lovely, antique turkey millinery quill, with a small peacock eye feather accent. About the main quill used in the making of this pen: It has been crafted from a Vintage Turkey Millinery Quill (I believe I have the only stock remaining in the country, purchased over 15 years ago), & these beautiful feathers are over 100 years old. Due to age, storage techniques of the time, and the dyes used to produce the colours pictured, which caused bleeding along the feathering as well as fading. This produced some very unique & beautiful OOAK shades making each and every one special. I hope you enjoy!

The main feather is hand painted in white, faerie frosted in shimmers, enhanced with crystal accents. Finished on both sides.

This quill comes with a matching journal OPTION detailing the artistry of Sulamith Wulfing. These journals are very hard to come by now.

The beaded accents include a delicate mother of pearl carved butterfly, Swarovski & Czech crystals, and on the back a gilded accent. The Little Butterfly quill is dressed in hand dyed silk ribbon. The accent on the back is vintage. It is ethereal as well as beautiful, and fit for the woodland realm of which it was inspired.

This pen measures 11+ inches long without the nib inserted.

This is an exclusive Studio on the Pond Design, and is of course one-of-a-kind.

This pen comes tissue wrapped, and complete with my artisan studio certificate of authenticity.
