Lovely Vintage Pewter Dip Pen & Hand Painted Quill

How to describe? Well, lets begin with the pen itself which I acquired years ago. It is vintage (20+ years old), and came to me with a very damaged & broken feather. It is made of pewter, stamped upon its back with a simple 'Etain', Made in France. I replaced the damaged feather with one of my own hand painted pieces done in a simple black, and added several delicate crystals. The pen was cleaned, and though it did not come with a nib, I added a vintage one to match the style & design of the quill. I believe it turned out beautiful, especially for a remade vintage piece. This is a one-of-a-kind artisan crafted pen.
This pen comes tissue wrapped, and this is an exclusive Studio on the Pond design, and is of course one-of-a-kind coming complete with my studio certificate of authenticity.
