BUTTERFLY MAGICK ...

In muted shades of vibrant tangerine & gold, this 13 inch pen comes bearing the totem of Butterfly. Equipped with a custom golden ferrule which will allow for the inter-change of nibs when writing or illustrating, ribbon wrapped writing shaft, and a lovely dragonfly totem dangle. The quill has been painted in faerie dusted white, and no two of these pens will ever be the same due to this technique. This is an exclusive CSD design, and is of course one-of-a-kind.

Beadwork: OOAK claywork butterfly, Czech glass beads in mint, & crystal, wooden spacer with gold bead caps.

This pen comes tissue wrapped along with my studio certificate of authenticity.

About the Quill used in the making of this pen: It has been crafted from RARE Non-Typical Vintage Turkey Millinery Quill, & these beautiful feathers are over 100 years old. Due to age, storage techniques of the time, and the dyes used to produce the colours pictured, which caused bleeding along the feathering as well as fading. This produced some very unique & beautiful OOAK shades making each and every one special. I hope you enjoy!
