Lovely Furstenburg 1747 Brunswick Germany Porcelain Inkwell

This is a really lovely antique hand painted Porcelain Inkwell & Stand made by the Furstenburg Company in the early 1900s. The makers mark on the bottom simply reads "Brunswick Germany with the first Furstenburg hallmark", and it has a German appearance. The stand is in typical vintage condition, with a slight surface crack on the filigree of the well. The painting is done by hand, over decal I believe. The tiny black specks shown in the images are enamel specks left when the paint has been worn or rubbed off. The inkwell did/does have some gold gilding, and I can only image how gorgeous this was in its day, fully painted and new. Still a lovely piece, and worthy of a place on someone's desk.
SIZE: 10-1/4 inches long x 6-1/2 inches wide.
