Artisan Crafted Sugar Skull Feather Quill Dip Pen - Día de Muertos

Beautiful, OOAK handcrafted & painted by Master Pen Crafter, ChaeyAhne.

This pen is crafted primarily in black with gold leaf accents. The main feather is hand painted in gold with crystals, and ostrich plume backing, and a reclaimed ebony black mink base wrap. The sugar skull representation was created with a gold filigree crown, hand painted enameling with crystal accents. This pen has a gunmetal black external ferrule which will allow for the inter-change of nib (point) types.

This is an exclusive CSD design, and is of course one-of-a-kind.
All of my pens come pleasantly tissue wrapped, and complete with my CSD studio certificate of authenticity.

DAY OF THE DEAD - Dia de los Muertos (Sugar Skull)

HISTORY: On October 31, All Hallows Eve, the children make a children's altar to invite the angelitos (spirits of dead children) to come back for a visit. November 1 is All Saints Day, and the adult spirits will come to visit. November 2 is All Souls Day, when families go to the cemetery to decorate the graves and tombs of their relatives. The three-day fiesta filled with marigolds, the flowers of the dead; muertos (the bread of the dead); sugar skulls; cardboard skeletons; tissue paper decorations; fruit and nuts; incense, and other traditional foods and decorations.
