WOODLAND SPIRIT Blessing Bag - Medicine Bag

For the gentle spirit of one who traverses the woodlands & wild places. Its creation focused upon the wilderness, and its wildlife, and my love of nature. Here at Heart of the Wild we strive for balance in all things, but mostly with the land & forests around us, and that which lives within, or touches the corners of our home. We mostly encounter deer, bunnies, foxes, and many types of birdlife such as blue herons, owls, songbirds, and our guardian crows. This energy, and the spirits of those are very dear and precious to me.

This blessing bag is crafted of soft leather, beaded with cloisonné, brass, gold, and glass. The focal is of a vintage Russian woodland painting done in glass set against a lovely brass filigree setting. I have carved a small pattern into the edges of the leather in some places, along with a small blue flower on its reverse, and then added soft color tones to compliment its glass focal. It is very lovely, and ever so much prettier in person. For some reason my camera wants to photograph this in a much darker gold than it is.

The straps are braided, and long enough when untied to retie so the blessing bag can be worn around the neck.

This special bag was created to carry those small memories & mementoes of the Loving Heart. A beautiful Sweetheart Bag!

Size: Bag is 3 x 2-1/4 inches with 6+ inches of additional fringe & beading.

NOTES: This bag is beautiful, created in a very artsy style with my typical hint of the Fae for Magic! :)
